Having made the decision to change my career late, I was keen to ensure I chose a college that could work around my tight timeline.

Alan and his team at McArthurMorgan worked closely with me to create a bespoke timetable which resulted in me gaining my Practice Licence at a comfortable pace but in time for me to buy my own Accountancy Business. The skills and training I received from their tutors meant that I passed my exams with little stress and amazing results.

My business is flourishing and I was very proud to be awarded the AAT ‘Rising Star’ Award in 2018. A huge factor in that is down to the great training and support I received from McArthurMorgan.

I was working in the City of London as a Secretary and now thanks to McArthurMorgan I have my own Accountancy Practice. We are growing since 2014, it is a challenge but I love it every day.

I’m transitioning to accountancy following redundancy and decided to enrol on the AAT Level 2 fast-track course with McArthur Morgan. I completed all required assessments in three months and, without any prior accounting knowledge, achieved a distinction which I was delighted with. It was mainly due to the high-quality teaching provided by the tutors, who guided me through the study text at an easy pace with regular recaps, made concepts easy to understand, and supported me through the revision and exam process.

The location and modern facilities are also big positives, and I received fantastic customer support throughout. I was that happy with their service that I enrolled for Levels 3 and 4 and I’m on schedule to complete all three levels within 15 months of starting. This will provide me with the ideal springboard to securing my first accounting role and having a successful accounting career.”

I combine working full time as a hospitality manager with my AAT studies. I originally chose McArthurMorgan as they offered maximum flexibility with my classes. Since joining as a Level 2 student I have been amazed by the full support I received from the tutors on each subject – both inside and outside of the classroom – just don’t be shy to ask for extra help.

I am always looking forward to my weekly classes. I like the approachability of my tutors – their humour and practical experience always brings the sessions alive with real life accounting examples. I have also found new friends within my classmates – we support each other building our new careers.

Studying at McArthurMorgan has been excellent. I have studied the AAT Level 2,3 & 4 courses through the college with a lot of success. The quality of teaching is exceptional and all the students are very nice and friendly.

Very pleased with the college! AAT level 3 was a big step up from Level 2 but these guys really helped me with my understanding and gave me the confidence that I needed to pass the exams! Supportive and helpful tutors, very responsive via email and phone.

I am about to do Level 4 with them, would definitely recommend!

Your teaching methods are clearly tried and tested and work! Classes are fun – my mates can’t believe that I had a fabulous day discovering the mysteries of VAT! – and pragmatic. We are guided to pass the exams but not at the expense of not really learning the subject. The course questions are cleverly honed to help you learn the information at home. Tutors are always ready to help explain specific points in breaks / over the phone/ by email so you can overcome any ‘blocks’ that you may have. It all works!

Whilst looking at a question about analysing a company I felt great joy knowing that I could ‘read’ and understand the accounts. I didn’t have to rely on someone else to tell me – I knew for myself. That was one of the reasons that I wanted to do this course.

Having worked as a finance assistant for 5 years, I knew how accounting systems worked but didn’t really understand the method behind them or what double entry was!

I decided to study AAT from Level 2 with McArthur Morgan. They are super flexible with sessions and I was able to easily juggle a new job whilst attending evening sessions to better understand my job and to further my career.

All the tutors are patient, friendly and super knowledgeable (and funny!). They break everything down so it’s not so daunting and I found it super easy to take everything in.

I managed to complete my Levels 2 and 3 in one year and level 4 was completed the following year.

I am now in a Head of Finance position, thanks to my new skills and have one direct report – who is now also studying at McArthur Morgan!
